The advert has served its purpose and attracted a lot of attention. So what should be done with the material now? Disposal was out of the question for Pepsi. And why should it be, given these colourful designs, which are now carrying the Lay’s message out into the world in the form of 800 backpacks: „No Lay’s, no game!"
Backpacks in the pro:rolltop model were made from around 367 square metres of banner material. Because each cut comes from a different part of the banner, no two are alike – some are bright yellow, some pink, and some feature a patch of red or grey. A sewn-on label indicates the origin and turns the random pattern into a limited edition.
Upcycling in action: We love what we do, and our customers are delighted to have personalised brand ambassadors made from their own materials. Always sustainable, always part of the cycle.
