Indestructible – 200 courier backpacks made from Cisco advertising banners

Ten-metre-high Cisco advertising banners were turned into 480 square metres of tarpaulin material, which was then used to make 200 pro:Kurier backpacks. Sturdy, waterproof – and each one is unique.

What can you do with ten-metre-high Cisco advertising banners if you want to recycle the material rather than throw it away? Cool courier backpacks. The idea for upcycling came from the Cisco team themselves; together, we set up the production of 200 one-of-a-kind backpacks.

A brilliant real-world example of the circular economy and waste prevention: the backpacks, made from sturdy, waterproof tarpaulin, are virtually indestructible, and because each piece is cut from a different part of the giant banners, each one features a different design.

Thank you for the great collaboration. We look forward to the next sustainable upcycling projects.
