From an 84-square-metre giant poster to a messenger bag – 75 years of THW

To mark the 75th anniversary of the Technisches Hilfswerk, we have turned an 84-square-metre giant poster from the centre of Bonn into 85 messenger bags. Each one is unique; each one is a piece of the anniversary to take home with you.

The Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2025. To mark this anniversary year, under the slogan „100% #ZUSAMMENNACHHALTIG", we were able to transform a giant poster from the centre of Bonn, featuring a design in keeping with the theme, into fully equipped messenger bags.

Because each cut-out is in a different place on the poster, each of the 85 pockets is unique. And they are as versatile as the THW itself: throughout Germany and around the world.

We would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations on your 75th anniversary and are delighted to have been able to make a lasting contribution. Here’s to the next 75 years of aid and technical support in disaster situations – you’re doing a brilliant job. And now, enjoy your new, upcycled everyday companions.
