Faux leather – often referred to as vegan leather – is technically usually PU on a textile backing. The difference lies in the variety: from smooth and glossy to finely grained and coarse buffalo-grain, from a nappa-like look to a suede-like feel, practically every finish is available. This is precisely where the challenge – and the opportunity – lies: the right synthetic leather is chosen based on the sample, not the technical specifications. We therefore send you material samples before production begins.
