PU – short for polyurethane – is the coating that gives a bag its high-quality look. The surface is key: matt rather than glossy, soft and slightly supple to the touch, without the plastic sheen of cheap plastics. What’s more, PU is resistant to moisture, easy to wipe clean and can be produced in any grain or colour. Where a bag needs to look and feel high-quality, PU is the obvious choice.
