Second Chances – 28,100 make-up bags made from Zalando posters

Zalando has had over 28,000 make-up bags made from around 2,240 square metres of recycled outdoor advertising material, featuring a woven label on the outside and a digitally printed logo along with the product’s story on the inside. Each one is unique.
Second Chances – 28,100 make-up bags made from Zalando posters
  • Quantity: 28,100 pcs
  • Model: etui V2 (make-up bag)
  • Material: approx. 2,240 square metres of the client’s used campaign space (giant posters)
  • Finishing: Dual branding, woven label on the outside, digitally printed logo on the inside
  • Production: EU, Poland

Under the slogan „Who doesn’t like second chances?", Zalando had over 28,000 small make-up bags produced from around 2,240 square metres of campaign material and various giant posters from its outdoor advertising. All the outdoor advertising material was reused; not a single square metre ended up in the rubbish.

When it comes to branding, Zalando has opted for a dual approach: a woven label on the outside and a digitally printed logo on the inside that tells the product’s story; anyone who opens the pouch will discover that it was once a giant poster.

Because each cut-out is positioned in a different place on the posters, each of the 28,100 little pouches is one of a kind, and the campaign material is now delighting its recipients in its second life.
